The White House is a beautiful, hidden country hotel with a wonderful breakfast. I highly recommend it! We had the chance to spend some time in the evening in the common room, which had a bar offering drinks. We were pleasantly surprised to see how it brought together various travellers.
What a beautiful couple of days we had celebrating our wedding anniversary, accompanied by our faithful border terrier. The rooms and the shared spaces were inviting, tasteful and friendly, and anyone we encountered were all having a comfortable and happy time. The welcoming Jonnie made the world seem perfect and Diana and the chefs met our every need, with consideration and kindness. We will back!
Had a few nights stay and our wedding here and cannot fault the place or the staff. Amazing team, amazing venue, amazing food and amazing time. We stayed a little longer after and will be coming back, that's for sure. Thank you everyone and see you soon. If you're reading this considering to stay yourself, do so, definitely recommend. We stayed here for only one night but we will definitely be back! From the initial walk into the front door of this beautiful house, to us leaving it was nothing short of excellence. We almost felt as though we lived here ourselves as the vibe was so inviting and relaxed. We were lucky to have bedroom 5 which had an amazing view of the grounds and the vineyard. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Best night sleep I’ve had in ages. The peacefulness here is like a retreat from noise. The food was also beautiful. Locally sourced and seasonal. My steak was like butter! Breakfast, well again just excellent. We cannot wait to visit this rural retreat again. Thank you to all The White House staff. Jenn and Nick Hudson
A real Treat ! Truly a refreshing find in Burnham Market We recently stayed at The White House in Burnham Market. A very special small elegant country house on Sussex Farm, with views over the vineyard. Warm and friendly staff at breakfast and dinner with delicious and well presented meals. Great comfortable rooms and with the easy hospitality lounge & bar and relaxed outside terrace & gardens, it made our stay extremely memorable! Great communication from Mark and his team including check out, made this gem of a find, a really relaxed, special home from home stay. Looking forward to our early return soon. Caroline & Steve

We stayed at The White House in the Sussex Suite for a long weekend for our wedding at Holkham. It’s a really special hidden gem. The White House is decorated and furnished beautifully and had such an intimate and cosy feeling. We loved the honesty bar and the freshly baked treats was a lovely touch. Room 12/ Sussex Suite was perfect, tranquil and had plentiful space for myself and my bridal party to get ready in the morning. Having a little getaway here was such a treat and made our time celebrating our wedding even more special. Breakfast was perfection with lots of delicious options. There were two members of housekeeping who really shone out (unfortunately didn’t make a note of their names!). These ladies were always so attentive, kind and really looked after myself and my family on the morning of the wedding. They are a real credit to the team at The White House and can’t thank them enough. Thank you for such a blissful stay and we wish to be back in the future!

We were had an incredible three-course meal that exceeded all expectations, and the breakfast the following morning was equally delightful. What truly made our stay unforgettable, though, was the staff. They were so kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel genuinely at home. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the experience all the more special.
